A Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) is issued by the depositories (NSDL/CDSL) or by RTAs like CAMS and KFintech, and it lists every mutual fund folio and transaction linked to your PAN across AMCs -- not just the ones held through one distributor.
It shows units bought, redeemed, switched, and the current NAV-based value as of the statement date. It is a factual record, not a performance recommendation.
Worth checking after every SIP cycle: that the folio numbers, PAN, and nominee details are correct, and that units credited match what was actually invested. Small data-entry mismatches are far easier to fix within a few weeks of a transaction than years later.
